5 Pictures: My Best Pictures of Singapore

Singapore has an interesting reputation. It’s safe, politically stable, and everyone seems to get along despite being a melting pot of so many different cultures. It boasts some of the best architecture in the entire world and its skyline boasts numerous noteworthy skyscrapers. But there are some negatives too: some say that the culture errs on the side of non-offensive to such a degree that it’s almost boring at times. Others say that whereas a city like Hong Kong is modern yet very much Asian, Singapore could be dropped anywhere in the world an no one would really notice. Plus it’s massively humid for pretty much the entire year, sitting just 80 miles north of the equator. Having spent quite a bit of time in Singapore this year I managed to snag some wonderful images, let’s run through my five favorites!

Singapore Airlines Suites Class: What It’s Really Like

I think everyone’s heard about Singapore Airlines Suites Class. Launched almost 10 years ago with Singapore’s launch of the Airbus A380, Suites Class has long been the gold standard of airplane seats. When you combine an amazing seat with the legendary service of Singapore Airlines, it’s a pretty special combo. I’ve been lucky enough to fly in Suites Class twice, in 2013 and 2014. Since so many of you enjoyed reading my post earlier this week about Etihad, Qatar, and Cathay Pacific First Class I thought I’d share what it’s like to fly up front in one of the most exclusive cabins in the world.

My Five Favorite Flights

Part of being a blogger in the miles and points space is have a roster of good trip reports. While I’d say I flew these flights so I could offer a more thorough analysis and comparison of the various airlines, honestly I really just wanted to fly in really nice cabins and drink lots of champagne!

That said, I want to tell you about some of my favorite flights, for those of you who may be new to Andy’s Travel Blog.
