Well, I’ve been back from Hong Kong for about a week and, well, it’s been a pretty memorable week.  I didn’t want to keep that weird situation from sharing a picture of the week with you though, so we’re going back to Hong Kong for this week’s picture of the week!

Many of you will recall my infatuation with Lugard Road in Hong Kong.  I love shooting from there and I even went so far as to post a video on the YouTube channel about how to get there, for all of you photographers.

I followed the directions above to a T and prepped for my picture from The Spot.  The weather never really cooperated, unfortunately, but the city lights cast a nice glow on the haze and I ended up with a shot I was fairly happy with.  Had I not been so jetlagged I would’ve returned for a sunset photo but, alas, I’ll do that next time.  Until then, please enjoy this week’s Picture of the Week!

Victoria Peak with lights and water

For the photographers: I shot this with my Sony a7rIII and the Canon 24mm tilt-shift lens (and it looks like I didn’t completely level the camera so there’s some distortion, sorry about that).  Pretty easy shot to take and edit, moreso just needed the light to be better and the light to cooperate.  Them’s the breaks sometimes, as they say.  I did most of the post-processing in Lightroom, it really didn’t need much.  As always, please let me know if you have any questions about the post-processing in the comments below!
